Auburn, Ala.  – The Auburn Tigers held a two-hour practice session Saturday morning at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Tigers did some situational scrimmaging, as well as running through game day procedures.

“Today was kind of a pre-game run-through,” said Auburn head coach Gene Chizik. “We had to get some logistical things done with some substitutions. We did a good amount of work with special teams and with our younger guys. Everything else was pretty much situational.

“I think it was productive in terms of what we covered. We’ve got to spend the next two weeks fine-tuning a lot of different things, but overall, I was pleased with how today unfolded.”

Auburn will practice again Tuesday afternoon.

Season tickets, six-game plans, three-game mini-packs and select single-game tickets for the 2012 Auburn football season are now available to the general public through the Auburn Athletics Department Ticket Office. All tickets can be purchased online at www.AUBTIX.com. For more information or questions regarding tickets, contact the ticket office by email at tickets@auburn.edu or by phone at 855-AUB-2010.

The Tigers open the season Saturday, September 1, facing Clemson in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at Atlanta’s Georgia Dome.
