When Coach Dean Fabrizio and the Lee County Trojans take the field this season they will be wearing a decal on their helmets to honor Past Lee County football player, and fallen American Hero Lance Corporal Steven Sutton. The Trojans will also be striving to show last season was a fluke and make the playoffs as they did in 2010.
Coach Fabrizio is excited about the upcoming season and is glad to have starting QB. Jr. Matt Mears coming back to lead his offense this season. The Trojans will use a spread offense which will use a lot of no huddle offense to help the Trojans keep the defense off guard and test their opponents physical conditioning. Coach Fabrizio feels that SR. running back Kenneth Hurley and wide receiver Andrew Stroud will help make things happen on the offensive side of the ball.
The trojan’s will use a multiple look defense that will be lead by nose guard Colton Grove and Sr. William Butler. The strength of the defense coach Fabizio feels will be the defensive line with the starters he has returning . He says that the back end of the defense isyoung but is very fast and athletic. The Trojans will count on the defense this year to help close down teams this year.

Trojan’s head coach Dean Fabrizio watches pratice. Fabrizio hopes his team can regain its 2010 playoff form.
This season Lee county will play Albany High, Dougherty High, and Westover High, which has the team excited to renew the rivalry with these teams to hopefully establish that the Trojan’s are the best in the local area. Lee county will play Morrow for home coming this year and the team is looking to make it a game that will not be forgotten any time soon.
So come out this season and watch the Trojan’s build towards the future and reestablish their 2010 form!
