ATLANTA — A conference to help Georgia Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) companies develop and maintain sound business practices is scheduled here Wednesday, August 29.
Entitled “Strengthening and Expanding Your Business for Growth,” the day-long event is sponsored by the Georgia Department of Transportation and open to DBEs and non-certified firms It will begin at 7:30 a.m., at the Emory Conference Center Hotel at 1615 Clifton Road.
The conference objective will be to help DBEs establish relationships with industry experts and also to offer them technical expertise on a variety of business functions and best practices in the areas of accounting, contracts, taxes, marketing, legal compliance and more. The event is free to state-certified DBEs; a registration fee of $100 will be required for non-certified attendees.
