Dove Season To Open September 1

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division has released the following information for the upcoming Dove season.

1. DOVE SEASON OPENS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 – The Georgia dove season opens at noon on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012.

2. NEED HUNTER EDUCATION? – Make sure you have your hunter education needs met before dove season arrives.

3. FIELD PREPARATION KEY TO SUCCESSFUL DOVE SEASON – How to Ensure Your Field is Legal Outlined in Brochure

4. OBTAIN HIP PERMIT BEFORE DOVE HUNTING – Required, free permit assists wildlife management

5. BRIEFLY: 2012 Dove Field Forecast Now Available Online
