Dawson Road BP station robbed

Albany police are on the lookout for two men they say robbed the BP station at the corner of Dawson Road and Westgate in northwest Albany.  The two men allegedly entered the store carrying handguns around 4:30 this morning and got an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was hurt in the robbery.  Police are asking anyone with any information to contact Crimestoppers as 229-436-TIPS.

An email to APD media manager Phyllis Banks about descriptions of the robbers was no immediately returned.  The Journal will provide that information as soon as it is received.
