Perry & Walters, LLP is pleased to announce one of the firm’s attorneys, Pete Donaldson, has been named a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honorary organization of lawyers, judges, law faculty and legal scholars, elected by their peers because of outstanding achievement in the legal profession.
Membership encompasses less than one third of one percent of licensed attorneys in each jurisdiction. The American Bar Foundation is the nation’s leading research institute for the empirical study of law. An independent, non-profit organization, the ABF advances the understanding and improvement of the law through research projects of unmatched scale and quality on the most pressing issues facing the legal system in the United States and the world.
Donaldson practices criminal defense law, general litigation and family law. He has successfully tried civil and criminal cases before juries in the state courts of Georgia including Atlanta, Macon, Columbus, Savannah and the 25 counties in Southwest Georgia. He is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, serves on the faculties of state and national trial practice programs, has held numerous offices in local and state bar groups and is the past president of the 1,600 member Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
