Theatre Albany to Conduct 2nd Round of Auditions for “State Fair”

THEATRE ALBANY TO CONDUCT 2nd ROUND OF AUDITIONS FOR “STATE FAIR”

Albany, Ga.—Theatre Albany will conduct an additional evening of auditions for the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, “State Fair,” Thursday, July 26 at 7 p.m. at the theatre located at 514 Pine Avenue. Director Mark Costello, Musical Director Steve Scott and Choreographer Judy Dabbs are conducting auditions specifically for men (ages 18 and up) to fill out the cast.

Persons interested in auditioning should prepare a song to sing; something that shows off the voice, and bring either the sheet music or a CD. An accompanist will be provided. Rehearsals are set to begin in July 29 with performances scheduled for September 14 thru 29. “State Fair” will be the opening production of Theatre Albany’s 80th Anniversary season.
