SMSGT John J. Citorelli, US Air Force (Ret’d), 82 of Albany died July 26, 2012 at Phoebe Putney memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be Saturday July 28, 2012 2 PM at Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church. Rev. Leigh Ann Raynor officiating. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors.

A native of Old forge, PA, Mr. Citorelli has lived in Albany since 1963 where he was a member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church. He was retired from the United States Air Force serving during Korea and Vietnam with 23 years of service. Following his military career, he worked for Firestone Tire Company and retired with 17 years of service. Mr. Citorelli was an avid square dancer for many years and was a member of a square dance club called “The Rafter Rockers”. He also enjoyed camping with his family, where a lot of fun memories were made.

Mr. Citorelli was preceded in death by his wife Sebia Jean Citorelli and a daughter, Joan Ward.

Survivors include his children, Bill Odom and his wife Robin of Manakin Sabot, VA, Ronald Odom and his wife Deborah of Albany and Cheri C. Garcia and her husband Henry of Galveston, TX, his grandchildren, Morgan, Jeff, Natalie, Dustin, Lorne, Ryan Odom and Michael Brown.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
