James M. Williams, 64

James M. Williams, 64 of S. County Line Road in Albany died May28, 2012 at Phoebe Putney memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Thursday at Kimbrell-Stern. Rev. Steve Hurley officiated. Interment followed in Floral Memory Gardens.

A native of Medart, Fla., Mr. Williams has lived in Albany area since 1958. He was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Brashear’s Steel and Enco Materials after 31 years of service. Mr. Williams loved wood working, carving and will always be remembered for the love he gave to his family.

Survivors include his wife , Betty Williams of Albany, daughter, Penny Harrell of Albany, grandchildren, James L. Barwick III, Brittany Pate and Tiffany Parrish all of Albany, great-grandchildren, Lakyn and Trevor Pate of Albany, sisters, Lacey Sanders of Crawfordville, Fla., Shirley Medders of Atlanta, Texas, Mary Davis, Agnes Davis and Darlene Abney all of Albany.

Joseph Centel Lawson, 18

Joseph Centel Lawson, 18, of Wingate, N.C., formerly of Albany, died Saturday, May 23, 2012, at Coffee Regional Hospital. Funeral services were conducted Friday at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Mary Hampton officiated. Interment followed in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Albany, Mr. Lawson had resided in Wingate, N.C. for the past eighteen months moving from Albany. He was a welder with Southern Fabricators and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his parents, David and Rebecca Haynes, Wingate, N.C., three brothers, William Louis Haynes, Hazlehurst, Ga., Joseph Emanuel Haynes, Douglas, Ga., Brandon Porter, Unadilla, Ga., three sisters, Danielle Hughes and Brooke Mills both of Marshville, N.C., Brandi Nicole Porter, Wingate, N.C., maternal grandparents, Jerry and Sandra Scott, Albany, paternal grandmother, Joan Hampton and paternal great-grandmother, Rev. Mary Hampton both of Baxley, Ga., maternal great-grandmother, Willie Ruth Hickman of Jackson, Ga., a niece, Karalee Hughes and Trevor Hughes both of Marshville, N.C.

Earnest Clyde Frazier, 69

Earnest Clyde Frazier, 69, of Albany died May 28, 2012 at his residence.  Funeral services were held Thursday at Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. Ralph Harrell officiated.  Interment followed in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Moultrie, Ga., Clyde’s family moved to Sylvester, Ga. when he was in the 10th grade and he graduated from Sylvester High School in 1960.  He served his country from 1964 until 1966 in the United States Army, afterwards moving to Albany.

Clyde was employed with Pritchett Ford Company for twenty two years as their parts manager and was general manager of D&D Enterprises (Auto Air of Macon) for 14 years.  He, along with his sons, opened and operated Frazier & Sons from 2003 until February 2012.  Clyde was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Cairo, Ga. and was a Master Mason and member of Worth Masonic Lodge # 194 F&AM.

Survivors include his fiancée, Patsy (Pat) Walters Carmichael of Albany, his children, Scott Frazier and his wife, Belinda and Michele Frazier Rodefer all of Leesburg, Ga., Brian Frazier and his wife, Stacey of Warner Robins, Ga. and David Frazier of Albany, a brother, Jerry Frazier and his wife, Glenda of Cairo, Ga. and his grandchildren, Samantha Frazier and Braden Frazier of Warner Robins, Ga., Myleah Rodefer, Meredith Frazier and Abby Frazier all of Leesburg, Ga. and Cayden Frazier of Middlebury, Ind..  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Frazier and Margaret West Frazier and a sister, Shirley Clark.

Charlie Earl (Little Earl) Adams III, 64

Charlie Earl (Little Earl) Adams III, 64 of Smithville, Ga. died Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  Memorial services were held Thursday at Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. Bobby Moye officiated.

Mr. Adams had resided in Albany most of his life.  He retired from Dougherty County Board of Education Facilities Department for twenty four years and was a member of the Moose Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Adams of Smithville, Ga., son, Charlie Earl Adams IV, a daughter, Shannon Lynn Bunch both of Lizella, Ga., a brother, Tommy Adams of Albany a sister, Susan Lile of Green Cove Springs, Fla., three nieces, a nephew, fourteen grandchildren and three step-children, Tim Beamon of Albany, Earl Harper of Leesburg, Ga. and Becky Gill of Smithville, Ga.
