The Kiwanis Club of Dougherty County earned several Georgia District awards under the leadership of then-president Mike Bertram during the 2010-11 club year. During the June 4 meeting at the Hilton Garden Inn, Kiwanis Division 3 Lt. Gov. Gene Goldsmith (left) presented Bertram with patches recognizing the Dougherty club for excellence in Community Service, Supporters of Tomorrow’s Leaders, Foundation, and Interclub categories.
