Alma Smith Brown, 80, of Baconton, Ga. died Friday May 18, 2012 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home.
A graveside funeral service will be held Monday 3 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Steven Hurley will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at Kimbrell-Stern one hour before service.
Born in Clinch, County Mrs. Brown lived in Albany since 1969 where she retired from Flint River Textile in 1985. She was preceded in death by her husband Jewell Brown in 1995.
Survivors include her daughter Gloria B. Stevens and her husband Terry of Baconton; a son Alvin Brown and his wife Anita of Leesburg; a brother Fred Earl Smith of Valdosta; grandchildren Terry Stevens Jr., Khristal Stevens, Terry Lee Stevens, Travis Moore, Joshua Brown, Jeffrey Brown, Michael Fogerty, Dewayne Fogerty, Ketra Cunningham and 13 great-grandchildren.
