The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recently named All-Region honorees for NCAA Division II outdoor track & field, and the Albany State University track and field coach, along with several ASU student-athletes were honored. ASU student-athletes, who were among the 171 South Region athletes recognized, dominated in the SIAC with 36 total All-Region selections, including 19 Lady Rams and 17 Golden Rams. The top five from each region in individual events and each member of a relay ranked in the region’s top three have earned the All-Region distinction for the 2012 outdoor season.

Head coach Kenneth Taylor was honored as the 2012 South Region Women’s Track and Field Coach of the Year. Taylor,
