Darton College’s Women’s basketball team will face Central Georgia Technical College in the first round of the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association Championship tournament, the GCAA announced today.

Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m., Tuesday, at the Cavalier Arena.

The No. 2-seeded Lady Cavaliers beat Central Georgia Tech by 28 points in their last meeting, a 77-49 pounding in Albany on Feb. 11. However Darton had only beaten the No. 7-seeded Cougars by a point when they first clashed on Jan. 28.

The winner will move on to the semifinals, against either Albany Technical College or Georgia Perimeter College, scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday, at Armstrong Atlantic State University.

The GCAA final will follow at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, at AASU.
