Albany to host Exchange Club Convention

The Good Life City will play host to Exchange Club members from all over the state as the two local clubs, The Exchange Club of Albany and The Southwest Georgia Exchange Club, host the club’s Georgia District Convention at the Hilton Gardens June 8-10, 2013.

The Exchange Club is a national civic organization that works to prevent child abuse.  It is divided up into districts throughout the nation.  The Georgia District is the largest district in the nation, boasting 46 clubs and 2,151 members as of January 1, 2012.  The next largest district contains two states, both California and Nevada.

The organization has 690 throughout the United States and has 20,694 members.

Local Exchangites worked with the Convention and Visitors Bureau to land the prestigious conference.
