The Albany Area YMCA announces holiday hours and a holiday special for the upcoming weeks. The Albany YMCA and Lee Branch YMCA will close at 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24, and will be closed all day on Sunday and Monday, December 25 & 26 in celebration of Christmas.  Both facilities will also close at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 31.

On Sunday, January 1, the YMCA invites the public to an Open House from 1 – 5 p.m. At the Albany facility, 1701 Gillionville Road, the first 102 people through the door receive a free t-shirt in honor of our 102 years of serving the community. At the Lee Branch, 316 Robert B. Lee Drive in Leesburg, the first 21 people through the door receive a free t-shirt in honor of our 21 years of serving Lee County. There will be refreshments at both locations.

The YMCA is currently offering a No Joining Fee special through January 31. Make a commitment to good health in 2012 by joining the YMCA and the joining fee will be waived. For more information, call the Central Facility at 436-0531 or the Lee Branch at 759-9770.
