“Golden age” Kiwanians heard recently from someone representing the potential future of the organization at the December 14 meeting of the Albany Golden K Kiwanis Club held at Grand Island Golf Club. , last year’s president of Magnolia Elementary School K-Kids, which is sponsored by Golden K, spoke to the club on what Kiwanis has meant in his life and to thank them for their support of him and K-Kids. While Nigel’s remarks were brief, a club member related afterward something Nigel had previously said to him that indicated a young person already planning far into the future – that Nigel plans to become “the first black Republican president of the United States.”
