Book focuses on works of former ASU Art Instructor

The Albany Museum of Art announced that they will be selling a book of the works of artist Arthur Berry.  The book chronicles the career of the artist through brilliant reproductions of his paintings.  Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Berry served as head of the Art Department at Albany State University from 1967 until 1988.  Arthur Berry, A Lifetime of Painting includes 50 full color images of the artists work from throughout his career as well as forwards by his sons, Kevin and Keith Berry and inspiring and insightful quotes from the artist.  The book is complied by Stephen Schatz.

Books are $70.00 and may be ordered through the Albany Museum of Art by contacting the Museum at (229) 439-8400 or info@albanymuseum.com. Books must be ordered by December 29, 2011.

The purchaser will receive a gift-certificate and books will be available at a very special book signing event with the artist held at the Albany Museum of Art on January 27, 2012 from 6 PM – 8 PM.
