The 22nd Annual Fountain City Classic, which pits the Albany State University Golden Rams against the Fort Valley State University Wildcats on Saturday, Nov. 5, has been selected as the Heritage Sports Radio Network (HSRN) Game of the Week.

Coverage for the game kicks off at 1 p.m. (EST) with the pre-game show, hosted by Omarr Bashir. Play-by-play announcer Mark Gray will be joined by color analysts Mike Walker and LeCounte Conaway in the booth. The ASU versus FVSU game is the only black college national broadcast on Saturday.

The Golden Rams (7-2) enter the game ranked No. 3 in the HSRN Top 10 Division II Poll, and look to advance to the inaugural SIAC Championship game to represent the SIAC’s East Division. The 2-7 Wildcats hope to spoil ASU’s chances of a repeat SIAC championship with a upset win over Albany State.
