On Friday, October 21, 2011, Westover High School’s Future Business Leaders of America members and advisors presented towels and blankets to Mr. Jessie Freeman, Director of Public Operations, for the orphaned animals at the Albany Humane Society. Pictured above are members of the club, advisors Mrs. A. Williams and Mrs. Esther Barwick. Also pictured are Mr. Jesse, Operations Manager and Jessica Reetz. Jessica is a former Westover High School student who is now employed at the Albany Humane Society.

Jessica Reetz presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Hezikiah Johnson, FBLA President.  This community project raised awareness of the mission of the Humane Society and helped students contribute to the needs of the organization. Mr. Freeman plans to return to Westover High School as a guest speaker.
