Tuesday, October 9th – 6pm   

The Incredible Edible Egg. Learn about eggs and take some of the mystery out of cooking with them by attending our hands-on workshop. Eggs are an important part of a lot of exotic dishes such as flans, custards, meringues and soufflés. Eggs take center stage in all courses from salads and entrees, to desserts. Bring your apron and try your hand at these culinary delights. Materials fee $10.00. Location: Candy Room at 125 Pine Ave. in Downtown Albany. For more information contact: Suzanne Williams. Walk To End Alzheimer’s. This is the signature fundraising event for the Alzheimer’s Association. Teams will get together throughout the year to raise money and then Walk 3 miles the day of the event with their co workers, friends and family. Location: Riverfront Park Downtown Albany. EARTHEART – art exhibit opening reception. EARTHHEART is the artistic retrospective of Kenneth Bridger, Albany Georgia native. He has won international awards for his designs and recently was named best in show in the 12th Annual Southwest Georgia Art Exhibition by the Albany Area Arts Council. EARTHEART is a collection of artistic works inspired by Kenneth encounters with indigenous tribes and cultures from around the world. The gallery located in the Carnegie Library, 215 N.
