Business operators are being invited to a first-time event being held by the Albany Police Department: A security seminar.
Police Chief John Proctor says the Sept. 24 seminar’s goal is to provide the community with information and products that will assist in the design and installation of commercial, industrial and residential security systems.
“We would like to connect business owners, home owners and home associations to companies that provide products and services designed to protect lives and safeguard properties against crime,” Proctor said in a letter to the community.
Details for the event, which will be held at the Albany Civic Center, are still being put together. For information, or to sponsor a booth, call Phyllis Banks at 483-6298.
