Vintage Albany

By   /   August 27, 2011  /   Comments

This brochure advertising “Leilani Shores” in Albany dates back to 1958. It advertised wide sandy beaches and palm trees. It was located on Lake Worth and was only open for a few years. In addition to swimming they held ski shows. This was in the days of segregation; notice the “white only” printed on the brochure. This image is part of the extensive Vintage Albany Georgia collection on Facebook.
