A screening for Courageous, the latest Christian drama film produced by Sherwood Baptist Church in  Albany, was held Friday at the Fox Theatre in Albany. Debuting at theatre on Sept. 30, Courageous is the church’s fourth film; the others are Flywheel, Facing the Giants and Fireproof. Sherwood Associate Pastors Alex and Stephen Kendrick directed and co-wrote Courageous. About half the cast and crew are Sherwood volunteers; members of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Albany also participated in the film’s production. Filming in Albany concluded in June 2010.
