Sunday, Aug. 7

Providence Church, 2504 Archwood Drive, will host Clark and Anne Taylor of Australia at the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services and a special evening service at 6 p.m.

First Presbyterian Church is encouraging members to “Bring a Friend to Church”. Bring a friend who doesn’t have a church, may be looking for a church, or just needs to check the church out. There will be gifts for all guests. First Presbyterian will also be starting “The Living Stones Series.” A sermon series that will get even the most stone hearted of people to praise Jesus. Wednesday, Aug. 10

Sherwood Baptist Church, 2201 Whispering Pines Road, will begin hosting Financial Peace University classes at 6:30 p.m. The 13-week program, led by Dave Ramsey, teaches families and individuals commonsense financial principles. Saturday, Aug. 27

Central Baptist Church, 1618 W. Third Ave., will host a fund-raiser wild game dinner and auction featuring guest speaker Clay Dyer beginning at 5 p.m. Proceeds benefit The Anchorage. Info: 436-7263.

 

Saturday, Sept. 10

The Central Baptist Church Women’s Ministry will host the “Living Proof Live Simulcast with Beth Moore” from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $25 and include a continental breakfast fellowship, a box lunch and refreshments. All tickets purchased by Aug. 15 include a T-shirt. Tickets may be purchased online at albanycentralbaptist.net. All proceeds will be used for Women’s Ministry projects. Info: 436-7263.
