The Albany Recreation and Parks Department hosted the Strikers Classic Masters Bowling Invitational for Special Olympics Georgia on Friday at AMF Bowl-A-Rama on Broad Avenue. The tournament, which is the first of its kind in Georgia, was designed to enable athletes to compete in the sport before the multiday Special. More than 100 athletes from as far as Newnan and Valdosta traveled to Albany for the competition. SPECIAL PHOTO.
