A Step from a Miracle

By   /   August 8, 2011  /   Comments

Miracles occur every day, but many of us do not notice. When we see the birds singing in the trees, that is a miracle. When we see the trees bowing in the storm, that is a miracle. When we see the waves dashing in the ocean, that is a miracle. Anything that happens that man cannot do is a miracle. If you have a situation in your life that seems impossible, Jesus Christ the miracle worker wants to work it out for you.

Many have experienced the miracle-working power of God. Naaman was a commander in the Syrian army, but he had a problem — he was a leper. A woman with an issue of blood for 12 years spent all of her earnings going to doctor and was no better. The man at the pool of Bethesda had been there 38 years with no improvement. Nevertheless, God worked a miracle for Naaman, the woman with the issue, and the man at the pool. He wants to work a miracle for you.

Naaman’s situation seemed hopeless. People usually scorned lepers. Naaman was an honorable and courageous man, but he could not help himself. However, God had a young girl in place to tell him where he could get a miracle (2 Kings 5:3). At first, he did not want to listen because the miracle wasn’t in the place he wanted it to be. He wanted to go where the water was clean, but God had him to wash in dirty water. Are you willing to do what God asks of you to get your miracle. Don’t allow your status or your position in life cause you to miss your miracle.

The woman with the issue of blood for 12 years was determined to get her miracle. She had to press through the crowd not feeling well, weak from losing so much blood. But, she wouldn’t give up until she got her miracle (St. Luke 8:43). Many of you can relate to this woman; you have spent all your money and are no better. I want to encourage you that a miracle is available to you. Take a step of faith and receive your miracle.

Can you imagine being by a pool for 38 years trying to get a miracle and no one will help you? Well, this was what happened to the man at the pool of Bethesda (St. John 5:5). But, the miracle worker came by and told the man to take up his bed and walk. At the command of Jesus, the man was healed. Jesus brought joy to this man’s life. He wants to do the same for you if you will only trust him for his word.

I want to testify that I am a miracle. God has healed me many times. He removed a dead baby from my womb without surgery. Two years ago, I was sick for four months not able to take care of myself, but God restored my health. Thank you Jesus! Many other miracles God wrought got me.

Jesus cleansed the leper, healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, and even raised the dead. The ailments that you have are nothing for Him to handle whether it is cancer, diabetes, aids, high blood pressure or whatever. God wants to heal you and make you completely whole.
