About 25 women from various congregations donned their hats Saturday for “A Southern Tea Affair” at Glover Plaza on Gillionville Road, participating in faith-based fellowship including team activities, socializing and a dinner. The event was the first of its kind organized by Travis Ervin, whose daughter, Makila, and mother-in-law, Lou Freeman, were among the attendees. PHOTOS BY KEVIN HOGENCAMP.
