Subject: Armed Robbery

Weapon Type: Kitchen Knife

Location: Sonic (908 South Slappey)

Time: 18:15 hours

Incident Date: July 7, 2011

Suspect Description: black male, approximately-6’0 tall, approximate 240 pounds, in his late 20’s to Early 30’s with a low hair cut

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts, white and red trim Air Jordan shoes (with black stripes), and a black do-rag over his face.

Items Taken: Undetermined Amount of Money

An employee stated that an unknown black male walked inside the business and demanded money from the register. The employee complied after she realized he had a knife. The suspect got away with an undetermined amount of money from the register and a safe. Afterwards, he fled the scene out of the rear of the business towards Cherry Avenue.

One of the customers stated that he saw the suspect get into a small black SUV, possibly a Hyundai. He was able to obtain some partial tag information. The first two letters were (BP).

The suspect’s identity remains unknown at this time.
