Villus B. Baker, Zacchaeus L. Wilson, Toyana M. Mosley, Tevin D. Tolver, Janiesha K. White
Air Force Airman Villus B. Baker graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Baker is the son of Karen Baker Albany and a 2010 graduate of Westover High School.
Wilson is the son of Ralph and Alfreda Wilson of Albany and a 2008 graduate of Albany High School. He received an associate degree in 2010 from Darton College, Albany.
Mosley is the daughter of Kwajalein Mosley of Albany, and Brinson Mosley of Dyer Circle, Huntsville, Ala. She is a 2009 graduate of Westover High School.
White is the daughter of Michelle Harris and Earl Price Jr. both of Albany. She is a 2010 graduate of Monroe Comprehensive High School, Albany.
Tolver earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of LaToya Williams of Albany.
Derrick T. Favors
Army Staff Sgt. Derrick T. Favors has been decorated with the Army Achievement Medal.
The medal is awarded to members of the U.S. Armed Forces, who while serving in any capacity with the Army have distinguished themselves by meritorious service or achievement while serving in a combat or non-combat area.
Sergeant Favors’ pursuit of excellence and abundant technical and tactical skills, greatly contributed to the success of the unit’s mission.
Favors is a drill sergeant assigned to the 1st Battalion, 19th Field Artillery at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
Favors is the son of Andrena Favors of Albany and a 2000 graduate of Dougherty High School.
Alisha D. Fowler, Desmine Q. Greene, Dontavius K. Jones
Army Spec. Desmine Q. Greene, Army Spec. Alisha D. Fowler, and Army Pvt. Dontavius K. Jones have all graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
Greene is the son of Brenda Greene of St. Stephen, S.C., and Derrick Greene of Albany.
Greene is a 2006 graduate of Timberland High School, St. Stephen, and received a bachelor’s degree in 2010 from the University of South Carolina, Columbia.
Fowler is the daughter of Bobby and Andrea Wilson of Albany and a 2002 graduate of Monroe High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in 2007 from Albany State University.
Jones is the son of Devetta Jones of Albany and a 2009 graduate of Westover High School.
