With three shutouts along the way, Flint River Fusion U12 Girls Won the recent Rose City Soccer Tournament in Thomasville. Prospective area soccer players can attend assessments to play with Fusion in fall on Aug. 7 at Darton State College at 10 a.m. for girls and 11 a.m. for boys. Flint River Fusion Soccer Club is the premier Academy soccer organization for the Albany area.  Academy soccer is for players under age 12 (as of Aug. 1) for travel soccer in the Southwest Georgia.
