St. James Baptist Church in Baconton will host its annual Empowerment Conference at 7 p.m. daily. The guest preacher is Pastor Arthur Jackson III of Antioch Baptist Church in Miami Gardens, Fla.

 

Sunday, July 17

Bring your back-to-school supply donations to The Pointe United Methodist Church and support the ministry of Mission:Change, which will culminate its back-to-school project at The Park at First Avenue and North Davis Street at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 23.

Life Christian Center International, 1211 Stuart Ave., will host a free beach-themed Vacation Bible School. The week concludes with a family water day from noon to 3 p.m. featuring water slides, water games and free food. Info: T.C. Cooley at 886-9161.

Gillionville Baptist Church will host a Junior Kids Camp in the Children’s Building for children who turned 4 by September 2010 through those who have completed second grade.
