The Daffodil Garden Club has chosen the beautiful yard of Frances Wellman of 406 Fifth Ave. as its Yard of the Month. Daffodil Club President Marideane Maxwell said the club sponsors the award to encourage community members to add a flower or tree — or just have a clean yard. “We encourage each resident to take pride in their dwelling,” Maxwell said.
