Highlights that evening are scheduled to be the, the Albany Marine Band performances, a military working dog K-9 demonstration and special guest Miss Georgia 2010.

Food and beverage vendors will be on hand, and plenty of entertainment is planned for both children and adults. The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.

Last year, approximately 10-11,000 spectators attended the event. The event is scheduled to open to the general public at 4 p.m., the fireworks are scheduled to begin just after sunset and the event will conclude around 10 p.m.

Due to security concerns, visitors should be prepared to encounter random screening points for both individuals and vehicles. All guests are encouraged to arrive early, and there will be free parking outside the main gate on Fleming road.
The public is asked not to bring alcohol, coolers, pets, weapons or dress inappropriately. All bags will be subject to inspection. The public is welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
