Economic Impact of Darton College $116.8 Million

ALBANY – A newly released study on the University System of Georgia’s annual economic impact on the state of Georgia indicates that Darton College has a $116.8 million annual economic impact on the local economy and an employment impact of 1,362 jobs.

The employment impact is an increase from Darton’s previous year’s employment impact of 1,157 jobs.  The study, which spanned Fiscal Year 2010, was conducted by the Selig Center for Economic Growth in the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
