Sherwood Baptist Church will host Camp KidzBlast Vacation Bible School from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Legacy Park. Activities include basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, Frisbee golf, dance, arts, crafts, drama, percussion, horseback riding, Survival 101, photography, missions, choir, special ops, science, camp newspaper and gymnastics. First United Methodist Church of Albany, 307 Flint Ave., will present “The Bible in 90 Days” beginning Thursday, June 9 and then on Mondays through Aug. 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Building 3, Conference Room A. Rev. Carrie Austin and Dr. Brandon Keaton will lead the curriculum, which helps people attentively read the entire Bible. Registration is required by June 1 to begin reading for the first meeting. The cost is $10 for the participant guide. Register in the hallway outside the church office. Bibles are $15 and will be on the registration table. A nursery will be provided if needed. If you are unable to join the class, but would like to share in the reading, there are extra bookmark reading guides on the registration table. Info: 432-7407.
