First United Methodist Church of Albany, 307 Flint Ave., has these activities planned: Regeneration Homecoming concert, 6:30 p.m. May 4, Walden Chapel Building 3; CHAOS Kids presents Sermon on the Mound, 6:30 p.m. May 11, Ford Hall; The Case for Faith facilitated by Chad Mullins, 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays May 18-June 29; Young at Hart Luncheon, 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 19, Ford Hall, $6. The youth of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1501 Newton Road, will hold a yard sale, bake sale, car wash and BBQ from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sunday, May 22

Central Baptist Church, 1618 W. Third Ave., will host Duane and Iris Blue, who will be speaking and sharing their testimonies during fellowship at 6:30 p.m. Saturday (bring an appetizer) and during the 10:55 a.m. and 6 p.m. services Sunday.

The Salvation Army, First United Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church will host a free Downtown Albany Vacation Bible School at 307 Flint Ave. for the first 100 children who sign up. Children 3 years told to the completion of fifth grade may attend. Participants and volunteers can sign up at www.groupvbspro.com/vbs/ez/dwntwnalbga. Volunteers are needed to teach Bible class and crafts and serve as activity guides, movie guides, crew leaders, assistants, food servers, and security patrol members. Dinner will be provided each evening to all participants.

 

Monday, June 6-

Friday, June 10

Sherwood Baptist Church will host Camp KidzBlast Vacation Bible School from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Legacy Park. Activities include basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, Frisbee golf, dance, arts, crafts, drama, percussion, horseback riding, Survival 101, photography, missions, choir, special ops, science, camp newspaper and gymnastics. Camp is free; space is limited. Info: 883-1910, ext. 1320.
