The Salvation Army, First United Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church will host a free Downtown Albany Vacation Bible School at 307 Flint Ave. for the first 100 children who sign up. Children 3 years told to the completion of fifth grade may attend. Participants and volunteers can sign up at www.groupvbspro.com/vbs/ez/dwntwnalbga. Volunteers are needed to teach Bible class and crafts and serve as activity guides, movie guides, crew leaders, assistants, food servers, and security patrol members. Dinner will be provided each evening to all participants.

Sherwood Baptist Church will host Camp KidzBlast Vacation Bible School from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Legacy Park. Activities include basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, Frisbee golf, dance, arts, crafts, drama, percussion, horseback riding, Survival 101, photography, missions, choir, special ops, science, camp newspaper and gymnastics.
