Rodney W. Brasington Sr., 62

Rodney W. Brasington Sr., 62, of Albany died April 13, 2011 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  A memorial service was held Monday at Leesburg United Methodist Church.  Rev. Mike Lyons officiated.

Born in Columbus, Ga., Mr. Brasington lived in Albany most of his life where he was a retired carpenter.  He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife Betty Jane Brasington of Albany; three sons Rodney Wayne Brasington Jr., John Douglas Brasington and David Dewayne Brasington; a brother Stephen Brasington and a sister, Sheila Brasington, both of Columbus; grandchildren Christopher Brasington, Alex Brasington, Byron Brasington, John Brasington, John Douglas Brasington II, Kristin Brasington, Rodney Brasington and David Wade Brasington.

Frances Enzor Livingston, 90

Frances Enzor Livingston, 90, of Smithville died April 15, 2011 at Lee County Health Care. Graveside funeral services were held Sunday at the Smithville City Cemetery.  Rev. John Townsend officiated.

A native of Atlanta, Mrs. Livingston moved to Smithville when she was 13 from Oklahoma.  She and her late husband, Almer (Dick) Livingston, moved to Mobile, Ala. in 1941 and returned to Smithville in 1969.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Smithville Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Thomas H. and Cheryl Livingston of Fayetteville, Ga., two daughters, Toni Reames and her husband Bubba Reames of Smithville,  and Vicki L. Dorough, Austin, Texas, five grandchildren, Major Ian Livingston (USAF) and his wife, Vonda of Tampa, Fla., Candy Chappell of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Misty Kyle and her husband, Rob of Austin, Texas, Amber Chappell of Scottsdale, Ariz.,  and Ginger Hernandez , eight great-grandchildren, Austin Lowther, Gabi Marcial, Ismael Hernadez, Issac Hernadez, Ella Rose Livingston, Carolina Grace Livingston, Landon Kyle and Layla Kyle.
