Shirley Armstrong, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Albany Technical College, announced on Monday
the appointment of Joy Knighton to dean of the Technology, Business and Personal Services Division. A native of Albany, Knighton has been with Albany Tech since 2007 serving as the Department Chair and Instructor for the Law Enforcement Technology program. “Mrs. Knighton comes to us with years of experience in leadership, and will use her expertise and knowledge of the college to make a transition that will benefit us in the months to come,” Armstrong said.
