Local media outlets and Albany-based marketing businesses announced today that they are combining their creative and outreach skills to help the people of Japan recover from last week’s devastating earthquake and tsunami. The Albany Area Japan Relief Fund is being coordinated through the local chapter of The American Red Cross.
The local group, which includes The Albany Journal will produce and publish or broadcast a series of public service announcements calling on the people of Albany and Southwest Georgia to make a donation to the American Red Cross. One-hundred percent of the funds raised through this campaign will go directly to the American Red Cross for its Japan Relief efforts.
The Albany Area Japan Relief Fund Campaign will run through the month of April.
