Flint RiverQuarium offers April special to churches

By   /   March 30, 2011  /   Comments

Beginning this weekend and continuing for the rest of the month, visitors can show a church bulletin at the Flint RiverQuarium and receive a free movie admission any Sunday afternoon in April with the purchase of a RiverQuarium ticket.

The current film at the Flint RiverQuarium Imagination Theater is Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure. When strange bones are discovered in a muddy Kansas river bank, paleontologists set out to investigate a mystery “buried in time.” Through ultra-realistic computer animation, movie-goers travel back to the Late Cretaceous, when the sea was dominated by giant marine reptiles.

Church groups also will receive a 10% discount on any Sleep With the Fishes overnight stay booked during the month of April and used by December 31, 2011.

The Flint RiverQuarium is southwest Georgia’s premier aquarium, featuring more than 1,000 animals that call the Flint River watershed home.  The Flint RiverQuarium is located at 101 Pine Avenue in downtown Albany, Georgia. Regular operating hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
