The Aguila District Awards Banquet was held recently. Two Albany scout leaders received the District Award of Merit for their exemplary service to scouting. Floyd Wilson of Boy Scout Troop 102 (left) and Bill Waller of Cub Scout Pack 64 were honored with the award. The District Award of Merit recipients are chosen by their peers and only two are awarded each year in the district. The Aguila District is comprised of Dougherty and Lee Counties and is one of four districts in the Chehaw Council. The Council covers a 17-county area.
