SUBJECT: Wanted Person

The Albany Police Department’s Investigations Bureau would like to solicit the public’s assistance with locating the following person:

John Dame Woody III, age 25 is wanted for Aggravated Assault / Criminal Damage to property 2nd degree.

On October 23, 2010, the victim, Patrick Strawder, age 18, told police that he was assaulted by several unknown males at a home located in1100 block of Eager Street. He stated that the men struck him several times across the forehead with an unknow object. Strawder was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and treated for lacerations he sustained. He was later released.

Woody is 6’2 in height and weighs approximately 163-pounds.  He has an average to meduim build and reddish complexion. His last known address is 108 Bridgeboro Street Albany, Georgia and goes by the nickname: “Jay-Woody”.  His last place of employment was with  Tree Services Company in Albany.
