St. Teresa’s Catholic Church will hold Solemnity of Mary Mass at 10 a.m. This feast is not a holy day of obligation this year since it falls on Saturday. The weekend Mass schedule is as usual: 5:30 p.m. Saturday; 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday in English; and 1 p.m. Sunday in Spanish.

Sunday, Jan. 10

Dr. Jay Strack, founder of Student Leadership University the author of inspirational books, will make a presentation on “Frontline Parenting” at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Center of Sherwood Baptist Church, 2201 Whispering Pines Road. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $5; tickets can be purchased at the ticket desk in the Atrium on Sundays or at the receptionist’s office throughout the week. Childcare will be available for $2 for preschool-fifth grade. Call 883-1910 by Jan. 5 to make your reservation.
