Wednesday, Dec. 8-

Sunday, Dec. 26

Trinity Lutheran Church, 1508 Whispering Pines Road, will observe Advent and Christmas at 6 p.m. Wednesdays and 8:30 a.m. Sundays through Dec. 26. Christmas Eve worship will begin at 6 pm.

Sunday, Dec. 12

Gospel sings will be held at 7 p.m. Sundays at Western Sizzlin’ on East Oglethorpe Boulevard. Performing will be Seeds of Faith on Dec. 5, and Mighty Rushing Wind on Dec. 12.

Sunday, Dec. 12

First United Methodist Church, 307 Flint Ave., will have two special programs of Christmas music. The Sanctuary Choir with the orchestra will present Joy to the World at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services and the Regeneration and Hosanna Youth Choirs will present Customs and Carols of Christmas at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Sunday, Dec. 12

Lee Weaver will provide an affable first-hand account of The Christmas Story in his one-man production of “Joseph, Husband of Mary” at 6:30 p.m. at Porterfield United Methodist Church in the Ministry Center. There is no cost; a love offering will be received. Info: www.LeeWeaverMinistries.com.

Wednesday, Dec. 15-

Sunday, Dec. 19

Pastor John D Pasley II and members of Cray Chapel Christian Methodist Church, 1918 Oakhaven Drive, will celebrate its new Worship Center with the following events: Wednesday thru Friday, 6:30 nightly, pre-dedication revival, Each night a different dynamic preacher. Saturday, the young adult of the church will have a musical Worship with a Cause: Honoring God Through Praise & Worship. Sunday, 3:30 p.m., dedication worship celebration led by Bishop Kenneth W. Carter and Bishop Othal H. Lakey

Saturday, Dec. 18

Life Christian Church will host NewSong’s Very Merry Christmas Tour also featuring Newsboys at 7 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 24

First Baptist Church Albany, 145 Oakland Parkway in Leesburg, will have a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m. Info: 883-8000.
