This is sure to be 4-year-old Trenton Vaughn Jr.’s best Christmas ever because of the presents he received, and for 11-year-old Kayla Nicole Quimbley because of the presents she gave. An Albany Middle School student, Kayla raised more than $200 from her friends, family and two churches — Arcadia Baptist and New Salem Baptist — to purchase presents that she delivered Tuesday to Trenton and other pediatric patients at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. “It’s been a joy to be able to do this. I want to do it next year, too,” said Kayla. “It warms my hearts to see the smiles this puts on the children’s faces.”
