Bryonne Ballard led the Lady Cavs to victory with a team-high 22 points on 6-7 shooting from beyond the arc. After missing her first shot of the game she was “lights out” connecting on six straight threes to give the Lady Cavaliers an advantage. Darton College defeated Enterprise State Saturday afternoon on the road by a score of 95-89.
Christina Brown also lit it up from the outside shooting 5 for 10 from three-point land to end the game with 17 points and five assists.
DC shot a season high from the field (50%), from beyond the arc connecting on 13-24 three pointers (54.2%) and also reached a season high in points with 95. They outrebounded Enterprise 60-33.
Auburn Randolph collected a career high scoring 12 points to go along with a team-high nine rebounds. LaKandra Beeks had 12 points and eight rebounds on the night. Dorine Minala added 10 points. D’Arcy Williams dished out a game-high six assists.
The Lady Cavs will travel to Andalusia, Ala. to face Lurleen B. Wallace at 6:30 PM on Wednesday night (Dec. 15). They will then return to the Cavalier Arena for their last game of 2010 versus CVCC at 2 PM, Dec. 18.
