The Albany Panthers arena football team will be holding its first tryouts for the upcoming 2011 season on Saturday at Thompson Stadium in Macon. The Panthers went 8-4 last year in their inaugural season

Participants will be required to wear grass shoes along with football attire (non-contact) as well as pay a fee of $50 and must be at least 18 years. Those wishing to get a head start on the competition may contact the Panthers front office at 435-1230.
