Exchange Club Fair

A community staple, the Exchange Club Fair of Southwest Georgia, kicked off Tuesday and continues through Sunday at the fairgrounds at 810 S. Westover Road at Oakridge Drive. From free entertainment all week long to livestock contests to the popular demolition derby, all of the old favorites are back for the 64th annual event. Gate admission is $5; kids under 4 foot tall are free. Parking also is free. The fair opens at 4 p.m. Wednesday, 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, noon Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Information is available at 436-8827 and www.ExchangeClubFair.org.
