The Cavs Lead The DC Fall Invitational, First Round Complete

ALBANY— The Darton College Cavaliers finished up the first round of the DC Fall Invitational in the lead shooting a team score of 297/+9 on the day. DC has a seven stroke lead over Georgia Southwestern.

The Cavs were led by Taylor Welborn’s even par round of 72, which was the low round of the day.  Austin McNeil also helped to pace the Cavs shooting 1-over par 73.  Shad Tuten added a score of 75 to the mix.

DC will look to add to their lead on Tuesday(9/14) morning as the top teams will being teeing off of holes one and 10 at 8:40 a.m. at the River Pointe Golf and Country Club in Albany, Ga.
