Deerfield/Sherwood Game

Deerfield-Windsor fullback Davis Moore eludes two Sherwood Christian defenders on Friday en route to one of his long runs during the Knights’ 28-6 victor over the Eagles at Deerfield’sWebb Stadium. Moore, who also plyed cornerback, scored two touchdowns and had 96 yards on 15 carries. The Knights’ rolled in the final two quarters after Sherwood nearly matched Deerfield in the first half, whic ended with Deerfield leading 7-6. The two teams could meet again in the state playoffs.
